Thank you Lin, Much of what I found on the airline was dated pre-2008, apart from current schedules and some blog travelogs, which is where my experience was formed. There is a particular draw to one aircraft type, it has to be said. Laos airlines has become of the best service and safety in that region now. It had some problem in the past over 12 years ago but not now. When compare to other Airlines around the world Laos airlines is not as bad as some people think.

Hi Malcolm,
The mountain roads are generally in good condition, and the Indian Government built most of the Nepalese ones, but the video was such a great example of when they are not, I have to share it.

Not sure I would enjoy driving my camper up that hill. At least with you having a left hand drive, you can see the drop.
